We had inclement weather a couple of weeks ago and we were forbidden to come to work. While it was explained to the Manager that we could all make it safely to work and had stuff that needed to be done at the shop, we were still told that we couldn’t work. Two guys that had already came to work were sent home. When we asked about our compensation, we were told that it would come out of our PTO. The same thing happened last year and I lost 40 hours of PTO in the same circumstances. In October I had an emergency surgery and had to have a smaller check because I didn’t have the PTO that I felt was stolen from me earlier that year. I don’t know if this is company policy or not, but is there any way possible to at least have some of the PTO restored. I’m sitting with almost no PTO and it’s not by choice. I will await a response from you.
