I purchased a park bench with rose insert. Supposed to be made of cast iron frame and hard wood slats. I have put it together. Two of the slats were beginning to crack already. The insert on the back is made of plastic. It is of very poor quality. I have purchased park benches from Big Lots before and have been very pleased with them . All of the ones that I purchased before had cast iron inserts. Do you order these to be made with plastic inserts on the back. If so that is a big mistake. How long do you expect this plastic to last? Also the wood slats sag greatly. I would not let two adults sit on it at the same time. The old one that I have still doesn’t sag. I would love to have one like I purchased with cast iron inserts. I have never before seen one with plastic inserts.
