Nobody contacted me back about my problem I had in a family dollar where I was disrespected and the person being racist to me

My name is marcia and i’m writing wanting to know why no one has gotten in touch with me about a claim that was made about my mom falling in the family dollar store in Lenoir N.C. and the claim was made in the family dollar store the same day that my mom fell and got hurt and there was 3 witnesses and i have called the claims office to see about the status of the claim and no one has gotten back to me and the claim was made over a year ago and my mom has had surgery and had got hurt and why no one is getting back with me to try to talk about what needs to be done i have left messages with the claim number and still I’ve not heard nothing from anyone and i’ve already consulted with a lawyer but i was trying to talk to someone and try to come to an agreement without having to go to court my mother is hearing impaired and i think that its awful that when we made the claim i talked to several people about the claim and they even talked to the witnesses which one was a customer that was walking behind us down the isle and saw the fall and even saw what had caused the fall but for months now I’ve not been able to get someone to get back with me and I’ve left over 30 messages of the claim due to my mom falling in family dollar, gave them the claim number along with the name of the person who to talk to about the claim and still have not had one single person get back with me and i’m not happy at all with how my mother or me are being treated for something that was family dollars fault in the first place. I’ m going to give it exactly one week from today, for someone to get back with me and if i don’t here from someone then i’m going to give the lawyer the go ahead to get something done since no one wants to get back with me to talk about what can be done for my mom

Well i went to family dollar at 2261 Edgewood ave Jacksonville , Florida 32209. 5 mins before 9 pm to buy a couple of items from the store there were three Female regular workers in. The store there was a sign on the door that told me the store closes at 10 pm and online said the store closes at 10 pm there was no manager in the building i no that because i am regular customer at that particular store the workers told me the store was close at 9 pm even though. I got to the store 5 mins before 9 pm the store Sign said it closes a 10 pm they literally put me out the store and was rude about it i even reminded them that they close at 10 pm they told me they didn’t care and threatened me by violence so since they threatened me we engaged in a verbal altercation which lead the three female employees following me outside and then one of the three female employees threatened to pepper spray me i told them at that point i have a legal knife that i would be force to use if they wanted to resort to violence my first amendment right is to stand my ground at this point one employee decided she was going to pepper spray me. Then decided she would engage me by approaching me And at this point all three of the female employees decides they would approach me. At the same time and try to engaged in a physical altercation at this point i had my legal knife out warning them that if they walked any closer i would have every right to use my rights to the first amendment law to stand my ground as my husband approach the scene as well as three more customers who were trying to shop. But stop because of the scene that they just so happened to walk onto. Just to hear they couldn’t come in the store even though it was not 10 pm yet and told they were not getting in to shop either as well. The three. Female employees nor i were no longer inside the store at this point which they put me out of before 9pm saying they were close which no sign or online indicated that they close before 9 pm they was were using profanity and threatening me and my husband, my husband politely told them he has a license to carry and has a conceal permit to carry if they didn’t stop trying to get physical with me we would call the police. and since they. Said they didn’t care about the police being called and still wanted to engaged in fighting and pepper spraying me i would be force to use my legal knife to protect myself and he would have no choice but to open fire for trying to physical hurt us in the end the other customers that observed the scene new the three. Female employees really wanted to get physical and violent and they were the only employees in the store and standing out side saying the store close before 9 pm told me and my husband we are baned from that store which is fine because if that’s the kind of people you hired unprofessional and rude with lack of customer service skills we will take our business elsewhere myself and my husband and the other customers who witness the whole ordeal i will be also filing a complaint with the labor board and the better business bureau

I was at one of your stores in Aurora CO on 7/3/21 and the way I was treated by your store manager was totally uncalled for.

I went into this store to purchase 5 of the large lock Lid Totes (grey) and could not find them, so I asked a young lady that was stocking. She guided me to them and I asked her the price and I was told $11.00 for the large nd $6.00 for the small.

I had her to pull me 5 of the large a6 of the small because I’m handicapped, which she did and took them to the front for me. When I finished shopping and went to the front to get rung up the price was $14.00 so I tried to let the cashier know the price I was quote by the other employee.

That’s when this man walked up and told me they were $14.00 and he didn’t care what the other employee said and if I didn’t like it I could leave his store.

He was very rude and flamboyant and still had not identified himself. So when I asked for the manager both cashiers started hollering and saying that this person was the manager.

He did not have on a name badge and th way that him and the othe cashiers were talking and acting when I first walked in the store I would have never guessed he was a manager.

I was on my cell phone with my Pastor who asked me not to say anything else to this person who wrote his name down as Torrence Pierce and told me I could call corporate or his manager Gonzo Zapata that nothing was going to happen to him and he would bet me that I would not get the Totes @ the $11.00 I was told they were and that is the price on th tote and on the sticker in front of the totes

I have never been treated like that in all my almost 70 years of age. I spoke with your District Manager and asked him to look at the tape and this person had the most uncaring attitude and never apologized for his manager so I see why his employees act the way they do.

Store # 09159 465 Havana Street Aurora Colorado I will never shop there again and I’m looking into social media because someone was video taping the whole incident.

I was a former employee of Family Dollar/Dollar Tree in Childersburg, AL. 35044
I was let go because of my health problems, I gave them a doctor’s note, the temperature in the store reach 98° and they still failed to do anything about it. My check on 6/18/21 was supposed to be $52.59 and I received a little over $22.
The manager Callie fails to communicate with me.

The manager states not to stereotype but African Americans are the most laziest people ever. Notice since I’ve been in and out of the place have not see not 1 African American hire at his family dollar. I ask him what was his name and politely completely my transactions and walked out. Camera doesn’t lie. I’m very disturb and bothered by what he commented out loud. Think he needs to be dealt with accordingly.
