It would be great if the company could answer their messages on Facebook. I tried Twitter also but did not get a reply. I suppose I will have to do it the old fashioned way and contact the corporate office phone number.
Is the customer service phone number the same as the corporate office phone number? I want to contact the customer support department.
Purchased a top loading washing machine (model GTW840SCSN0WS with serial number RR127065G) a couple of months ago (9/20/2020) and the metal inside the tub is faulty and rusting causing washed clothing to have rust stains. Clothing comes out with rust stains from the metal oxidation on the tub. The stainless steel tub should not be rusting on a new machine that is a couple of months old. We have a water softener so the issue is not hard water. After spending over $1000 on this new machine, we had called for someone to look at it and was told it was not covered. When I called GE back to inquire why they would not fix it, they indicated that it was cosmetic. This is not the case as the faulty materials on this inside of the tub should not rust and it is more than cosmetic when clothing is being ruined by washing it. I asked to speak to a supervisor and got through to I’eisha who told me that they would send a new tub but labor was not included. The tub will show up in 5-10 days but how will this tub get replaced? Why is the labor for faulty materials not covered for such a new machine. Please help me.
I bought a ge dryer in 1967 and have used it till this day. A few minor repairs is all. It is going out now and I’m a senior citizen and can’t afford a new dryer. Is there any program to help me get a dryer? Any help would be appreciated.
