Good company, I have one small complaint though: It would be great if they had a chat function or online email form where you could easily contact a customer service representative.
I think it’s pretty sad how you guys are conducting your business right now. I realize there’s a shortage, I am a contractor who can’t even get a response from your company concerning a warranty compressor. My customer is absolutely angry with the lack of quality of this system that I purchased for them. I need a response ASAP on this compressor. They are about ready to rip your system off of their rooftop and start proceedings to sue your company for reimbursement. This is definitely not the first issue I’ve had with Rheem quality or parts availability or customer service in the last 3 years. You guys need to get off your and actually give your contractor some help for a change.
I installed a Rheem unit in my home in June 2020 and now have a broken high pressure elbow. This caused the loss of all Freon, which was replaced at a cost of $687.00. My contractor reported that Rheem assumes no responsibility although he has seen this issue on several units recently. A call to Rheem customer service was useless. Cody C. Referred me back to Gem Air, the distributor, with whom I had already talked. I am disgusted with Rheem and intend to convey this to Mr. Cris Peel, President and CEO. I will also notify my large compound, Kingsmill, in Williamsburg, VA, to alert the thousands of homeowners to avoid this company.
