    I am so upset. I am a middle school science teacher and I shop at Family Dollar to save money all of the time. I went in today because I noticed the clearance sign on the window for Christmas. I have a picture of the front of the store with the sign hanging in the window. I spent about an hour and a half filling my cart up with supplies for my school. I do this frequently and donate them for future use. When I got to the register to pay, they rang up for a penny. I have called the corporate office before regarding this issue and many of the managers continue to sell them to me for that price when they forget to pull things from the shelf. The manager I dealt with today was very rude. As soon as I started to put my items on the counter, she said “I’m not going to deal with this today”. She told me that I had to pay the price of one Reeses peanut butter cup for each item I wanted to purchase. Where did that solution come from? The peanut butter cup cost the same as many of the items I was trying to purchase (full price!). I recorded the conversation on my phone. I even restated the question asking her if she was telling me I had to buy a Reese’s peanut butter cup for each item that I wanted to purchase and she once again confirmed this. I told her that I had been there several times and purchased many things for one cent when it was out of season and not pulled from the shelf. One of the working counter employees even confirmed this to her. She refused to do so, even instructing the other employees to pull all the stuff and throw it in the trashcan because it was not allowed to be sold. The store is full of Christmas items. There are lights, gift bags, mugs, Christmas boxes, wrapping paper, bows, platters, kids plates, candy and so much more. She refused to sell them to me at all, and at one point threatened to call the police to have me escorted out. I recorded the whole conversation and she told me to stop recording. She stated that she called her district manager, Kim, and Kim told her to call the boys to escort me out if I didn’t stop recording. I’ve never been so embarrassed in my entire life. I spend a lot of money on my classroom and on myself at Family Dollar Store. The manager, said her name was Britney, was very rude. She followed me out into the parking lot, taking pictures of my car and stood there for a long time, recording my car and me behind the driver seat. I even rolled down the window and told her my name and that my car was legal and insured. I plan on reporting this to the local
    News station as I feel I was treated poorly due to my race. All three women (African American) behind the counter, made it a point to humiliate me in front of all the customers. I moved to a predominantly African-American neighborhood, and the treatment of the other customers was obviously better. I was even told put the items back on the shelf that they would not sell me. I told her that I was not going to do that because I spent an hour and a half shopping and that was not my job. She’s actually got upset that I refused to go put the items back. Meanwhile, the line of people behind me were obviously getting tired of waiting.

  4. Your store in Kalamazoo mi. On Park street is in need of help. The people that work are always cussing at each other, they argue with the customers all the time can’t do there job right at all. I should not have a cashier cussing me out for any reason. The store is always dirty and I guess the owner doesn’t care or take pride in it as long as you make money no one cares. Your mana gets are a joke and so is this store I really wish I could go elsewhere going to try. I realize you don’t care but this is sad makes your store all jokes.

  5. Mine isn’t necessarily a complaint as maybe a concern. I’ve been trying to get a job at the family Dollar on timuquana road in Jacksonville Florida for the past couple of weeks. I can’t seem to get anyone to answer the phone and have come by there twice and it is closed. this morning there was a delivery truck there, but no one working. I’m just wondering what is going on because I would really like to be hired. if the reason is because they’re having trouble finding people to work, I am able and willing to start as soon as possible.

I would like to file a complaint on your associates that their name is Joannn and Carmen they work at 839 Broad St., Central Falls Rhode Island they were extremely rude and very difficult to work with the customer service is unacceptable she is a rude employee and you need to do some thing I got a gift and all I wanted to do was exchange it for the same thing I did not have a receipt so she has an attitude calls her boss and then says to me I am not gonna argue with you I need to speak with someone from corporate because this is unacceptable and I am putting this on Facebook about this family dollar you do not treat people that way The name of the employee was Carmen and her boss was Joannn Joannn did not even speak to me on the phone she called her on her cell phone and was talking right in front of me oh this customer I don’t even want I want someone to call me so I can explain explain this,

  7. I was overcharged at the Family Dollar Store in Sylvania Ga.
    They would not refund my money, talked nasty to me. I am talking about the manager and asst. manager. Please tell me what can be done about this. No customer should ever be treated like they treated me. I am very upset.

  8. I was overcharged. I bought 4 bags of Chester’s Puffcorn which is clearly marked on the bags for $2.29 per bag and was charged $2.45 per bag. I asked the cashier why I was being over charged and she called the manager. The manager stated it was Frito Lays issue and refused to refund the difference in the amount charged. The shelf was also marked $2.25 for the Puffcorn. This is false advertising and I don’t appreciate being overcharged. The location of the Family Dollar is Morton, Tx.

  10. I visited Family Dollar at 522 E. Cuyahoga Falls Avenue, Akron, Ohio 44310. I was purchasing a total of eight bottles of the Egyptian Musk Fragrance Oil which stated $2 the cashier was ringing them up and the price was $3, I stated the price difference and the Manager was standing near and stated he received an email saying that the price is $3. I advised him that the price still states $2 and that should be the price I pay because if you received an email the price should have been updated. I went and took a picture of the price which next to the product a spray was $3 but he was adamant of the correct price being $3. I am very dissatisfied how he handled the situation.

  11. I purchased some reading glasses at another store Forest Park location on Saturday 27,2022. So the next day I’m returning my purchase at the Family on 2433 Delowe Dr. Atlanta ga. So I’m returning a purchase and purchasing something else instead of him doing one. Transaction at time because want my money back first before I make a purchase he keep telling me he’s not going to do it like that I don’t see a problem with him evening me my money back first. He put everything together that not how I wanted to do my transaction. So he was sooo rude to me and he just left me standing at the register and then started serving the other customers while I’m standing so he told me he was going to service in a rude way I will never shop at your location again long as I breathe in my body I will never shop there.

  12. Last 4 times at Family Dollar I have been overcharged. Prices on the shelves are not what I get charged at the counter. 2 different stores . West side, Green Bay WI. Both places the managers explain by saying they are new on the job and are trying to catch up. Last time it was 3 of 5 items. The checkout woman told me to “shut my mouth” when I told her she was legally obligated to sell to me at the price on the shelf. NEVER GOING BACK> FAMILY DOLLAR BRAGS AS A BARGAIN SHOP AND COMPANY POLICY IS ACCURATE PRICING IS NOT A PRIORITY. I TOLD THE MANAGERS TO CHANGE THE SHELF PRICE BEFORE THE CHECKOUT PRICE… BUT THEN FAMILY DOLLAR TAKES THE LOSS- SO INCOMPETENCE IS TRANSFERRED TO THE CUSTOMERS’ BILL, SO NEVER GOING BACK AND I WILL TELL PEOPLE TO WATCH THEIR WALLETS AT FAMILY DOLLAR.

I been with this company for 19 years never had any problems ran a good store this year has been hell I moved in a new store week after mother day and it was just me and my assistant my assistant walked out because of my DM so it just left me running a new store by myself with no crew I had ask for help but got ignored so I ran a store by myself for a whole month open to close with no day off I put in 100 hours a week gave this company 300 hour back free because I sacrificed myself and my family to keep my store open didn’t get no credit or anything for doing what I did I know cooperate didn’t know because I had all this name in my payroll but none of them worked in my store they all were form the renovation so cooperate wouldn’t know I had no staff by me only that almost couse me my marriage because I was more at work then I was home just because I was to dedicate to my job I don’t understand why I did it because of the way I was being treated being ignored when I ask questions or for help I have proof of the Way I been treated I feel like I been push out of this company my last day was aug 20 th because I can’t keep being treated like I been treated it not right because of all this I lost all my vocation this year and lost my position because I felt like I was being push out and was told that I will not be rehire able all I can say it’s her lost not mine so now there might be another store go down because they have no manager I just want to say thinks for the 19 years with this company

Family Dollar store #2298 parking lot is in horrible conditions one of these days someone is going to have an accident and you guys are going to be liable for a law suit also trees branches are hanging out and some of them are broken I and other people reported to the manager Gaby Rivera or the District Manager Rafael Galvan but apparently they don’t care how the store looks and they ignored all the complaints. One more thing if you guys take this as a joke by not answering the customer complain number that is embarrassing.

  16. I bought a bra and they left the alarm on it and I didn’t realize til I got home. I never keep my receipt. I purchased it on August 16 and when I went back for them to take the alarm off. They refused without the receipt. They can look it up on the computer or the camera. How do I get it removed

  18. The 2 women that worked the closing shift were EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional and continued to talk ugly about me when I left the store. The only reason I know this is because I heard them through the CLOSED AND LOCKED DOORS. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING ATTITUDES AND SHOULD NOT BE WORKING IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. WL NEVER GO BACK IF THIS IS THE TYPE OF PEOPLE THAT REPRESENT YOUR STORE. DISGUSTING.
    Honestly I do wish to speak to someone higher up about this, because when I asked one or the other girls said she was in charge and she didn’t take me seriously at all. Basically shooing me out of the door.

  19. I’m writing about your w clay location in st Charles Missouri. First of all the store is crummy and feels unsanitary The prices are always mismarked anywhere from 15 cent to 1.25. The shelf price NEVER matched the register price. The first shift lady’s are always so helpful and courteous but there’s a big black guy whose ALWAyS on his phones carrying out a full conversation while checking you out and on the night shift the sets another guywhose rough & not very customer service-ISH but got upset when I advised him of a mispricing and told me he wasn’t gonna keep changing prices although it’s a store error. I waited at the register while he smoked his cigarette cuz there was no one else at the store. Although it’s my neighborhood store I will never shop there again. Just thought u all should know

  20. I feel that a manager was discriminating towards me! June 222 I was shopping at family dollar Main Street Belen New Mexico when I left the store 5 BPD officers surrounded me as I walked out the store and said they were called. E cause I was shoplifting! Then went on to check my purse withconsent and proved I had no stolen merchandise and had spent over $100 in that store ! The manager Kristen was informed that it was a false accusation of shoplifting . When the officers explained they could not write me up for not trespassing because there was no reason she then explained she did not want me to return to that store ! I am a minority and I feel that she discriminated and targeted me only for the reason of discrimination and wasn’t allowing me to go back to the store. The officers said it was private property and she what this authority! This was a humiliating experience and I have suffered much grief and PTSD from the experience of. Ring surrounded by 5 officers on the Main Street if my small hometown store. This was damaging and considered defamation of character! Since this experience I suffer PTSD and anxiety rvery single time I go shopping g. All the while this unprofessional manager is operating that store making false accusations like that! I’m in the process of obtaining the police report and consulting an attorney regarding discrimination rights and developing mental disorders from this experience !!   22. I just went to the store in Woodbridge store number 08431. I got the cereal that was for 4/$6. I asked the lady three different times to make sure it rang up at that price. She said he will take it off at the end however I was charged $15.50 not six dollars. I would like to have my refund please. I went back up there to explain to the lady again if she’s not very customer friendly. I also bought some cleaner on sale microban spray And I had coupons for each item. She was very nasty said that she could not take my coupons for this don’t understand whyManassas store does it very well so I was overcharged with that again. I’d like to get my refund for me on the cereal.

I was with family dollar for 19 years I use to love my job but pass two years was hell for my I lost vocation time do to my DM and the last two years I had problems hiring poeple and I ask for help this year when I relocated in another store she ignored me the first month I moved in the store she piss my assistant off and made her walk out so it just left me there by myself I ran that store for a whole month 8:30 to 10:30 every day with no day off 100 hours a week so that’s 400 hours a month no home life at all did she care no I gave company 200 hours back for free never got a appreciated for doing it while it was making my family suffer because I was never home the only reason cooperate didn’t pick up on it because I had a bunch of names on my payroll to make it look like I had a full staff and I didn’t it was only me and a guy form the rentavation stayed because he felt sorry for me but he only did stock after all I did for this company I been getting treated like x by my DM she demanded my two weeks yesterday so I got tried of her pressuring me about it so I gave her what she wanted so I just wanted to let you know I’m not staying because she going to do nothing but hound me till my last day and I’m not going to allow it so I just want to say you lost a good employee manager and I appreciate the time I had with family dollar but I can’t be treated like x this is what she text me apparently corporate is no type of support either the way she puts it been a pleasure working for family dollar/dollar tree but I can’t work with a selfish Dm

    I have nothing against no one in this WHOLE company. I do my job to the best of my ability just like you. There is no help out there and as for support – your right there is none from upper management
    I do everything thing in MY power that I can.
    Kristy sends you help with an Asm and the schedule needs to be done accordingly so you can get a day off.
    You tend to forget I’ve been with this company for 12 yrs and have suffered through many ppl my self and still am.
    I do what I can control to help all.
    If you feel I’m not a support system- sorry.
    However I answer my phone a whole lot more then Dottie ever did and do what I can.
    I do not ignore you or anyone else been txting you all day in regards to issues. However I do not respond to anyone just complaining I have way to much going on.

  24. My name is Tamika Habersham and I was at one of your stores today, #02243. When I walked in the store my granddaughter had a bag in her hand and it was a plate of food. There gentlemen that was standing in yells across the store in front of everyone and says you need to leave the bag. I turned to him and said I don’t feel comfortable leaving the bag because my granddaughters food was in it and he says to me ok then you won’t get rung you. So I continued to proceed and it too me 10 seconds to grab a bag of noodles. I got in the line that was very long with my grandchildren. When it was my turn the cashier who suppose to be training I guess, says to me Oh my register is closed I’m not taking you. So I asked her what do you mean and she repeated and said I’m closed and I can’t take you. Remind you that there is a whole line behind me. I asked to speak to the manager and I told the manager that they are refusing to take me. The manager asked them why are y’all refusing to take her and the gentleman says loudly in front of everyone, First of all she didn’t want to leave her DAM bag so that’s why we not taking her in front of my grandkids and the whole store. The manager says I’ll take you. I just couldn’t believe how I was being treated and how this man and cashier felt so comfortable with treating me tithe way that they did. And for him to say my Dam bag. I was so embarrassed and upset I just got the item and I left.

  29. I understand the employee shortage my local store has faced. Although, they have been open late and later for the last month. I googled the hours for today, Sunday, it read 9am-9pm. I decided I’d better call to check first before I go. A clerk answered and I asked when do you close today? She asked “ who is this?” I replied,” a customer?” As I am new to town and don’t know anyone here. I proceeded to ask again, “ what time do you close today?” She replied,” well, not til 9pm, but we’re about to close now!” I asked, “right now? “ as I checked the time and she said “yes” I was truly at a loss for words and jus said ok? An hung up. This is happening a lot with a few businesses in this town with the exception of Walmart and Kroger.As a business here for public customers why is it ok to just close? No wayl Would Walmart nor Kroger be allowed to just decide to close, even IF there wasn’t even one customer in the store! This is out of hand and you all should be held to the same standard OR take down your business hours and be honest and tell your customers you’ll be open or closed whenever you see fit! Let’s see how that’ll work out!

  30. Hello name is Ray, I bought a 6 ft Apple USB cord. At 41 s Main st Jamestown ny. T this was an emergency replacement cord purchase. This USB cord of 6 foot . Is defective. This USB sold for $15.00 plus tax total price $16.and change. I paid cash an I didn’t keep box or receipt. Because I didn’t think cord would be defective. Assistant manager at 41 s Main Street Jamestown would not assist me when I phoned the store

I recently went to your location at 4350 Western Center Blvd, Fort Worth, TX 76137 the manager follow me in the store like I was a theif after ordering to see my purse along with another worker he did not aplogize to me for being rude or harassing me in the store I had already spent $$$ on hair n make up at the beauty supply across from them he had no right to disrespect me or actually blame me for stealing saying I put things in my purse when I came into the store to buy shampoo n conditioner you need new management at that location for him to threaten to call the police on me for nothing I’m a CNA I make more than he does in two weeks I’m also a medication aid I have no need to steel or shop lift at any store.   36. April 2022 granddaughter asked to purchase a phone through Tmobile. After she did she then informed me that it was going to cost $145.84 debited from my account. I immediately call tmobile to cancel (10 mins later). I was then informed that it was too late but when the phone arrived to return. When the phone arrived it was returned and confirmed with tmobile that it had been received. Looking on my July statement $145.84 was withdrawn from my account by tmobile. I called and called about this transaction and because I did not know my pin number there really too much they could do. They could not tell me why it was taken from my account. I went to my bank and to dispute the charges and the $145.84 was returned to me. I had to get new bank card so that tmobile would not debit my account again. Today, August 3, 2022, $108.46 has been sent to a collection agency-Convergent Outsourcing. I called them and they stated that they will send out fraud paperwork and that I should file a complaint with the police department and return to them with the fraud paperwork. I called tmobile again and they could see that the account has been cancelled but could not pull up account because I did not have a pin number. This situation is getting very serious as I am on the verge of seeking legal counsel for harassment on the basis that I do not have an account with your company. This is starting to affect my credit score for nonpayment. I will keep writing and filing complaints until this is resolved, but I will be seeking legal assistance before it will reflect on my credit.

  37. I purchase the wrong flavor of apowered drink, I took it back with my receipt. The manager would not refund nor allow me to trade the product. I do not like going to that family dollar on Gainsborough Great bridge Blvd because they ate not willing to allow you to return items.     Time 3:00pm we checked out around 3:30pm I was excited because I saw some candles they were on clearance but in the area where all the candles were at I grab 6 candles they were 11.5oz they had saying best mother best grandma on them didn’t have a price so I used the family dallor app and scan them with my phone
    They scanned 1cent on each of them
    When we went to the register to check out we had a bunch of other stuff as well
    When we were checking out the cashier didn’t want to sell use the candles she said that they didn’t ring up dosent make sense because when I used my app they rung up 1cent

  58. I’m writing to complain about your Elkins, West Virginia store. My Mother is a senior citizen on a fixed income. She went to your store to purchase a fan. She purchased the fan for $25, but when she got it home it had been opened and didn’t work correctly. She took the fan back with her proof of purchase to the store yesterday and was treated rather poorly by the staff. A young man who said he was the assistant manager, took the fan then refused to refund her money because it was an electronics item. She asked to speak to the manager, but the manager was not there. She then attempted to explain that no one had told her that she could not return the item and that it wasn’t printed on her proof of purchase. The young man became argumentative, then threatened to call the police on my elderly Mother. He even told her to get out of his store and not to come back and threw her cane as she was leaving the store. My Mother is very upset. This type of behavior is totally unacceptable. I demand an immediate refund be issued to my Mother in the amount of $25:and that the young man be immediately terminated. Family Dollar cannot legally sale faulty merchandise and keep both the defective product when it’s returned and the customers money. My complaint is that while I was an associate she started having an affair with my fiancé. All of the store managers at my location can verify many of these Instances. She harassed me and I believe that she crossed a line as a manager by having an affair with an associates spouse. The district manager Sean often works out of the orchard mesa location and works closely with Chelsea.and it is because of that that I believe I was looked over for assistant manager. I had never missed a day of work I covered everyone’s shift and I never had a write up. Instead of being considered for the.position someone got hired from outside the company and my hours got cut.It got too unbearable to deal with that work environment. I loved my job, I loved my coworkers and it breaks my heart that I had to leave. I think that Chelsea should no longer hold the position of store manager if keep a Job in the company at all. I was in there again today, tiles still missing, showing that you do not care. While visiting your store today, the card readers on their registers were not working……………….yet again. We, the customers have learned to insert your card, insert your card, and for the third time insert your card. If no action by the card reader, then try swiping. C’mon people. Take care of your buildings, machines. The employees understand that it takes FOREVER for someone to respond. Why? Use a local repairman for the air conditioner, that will actually fix it and leave it in good condition. The machines, card readers, etc need to be replaced.

  102. I am writing this complaint because of the ASM who really upset me and diminished how I felt about slipping in your store on detergent that was leaked out on the floor. Once I slipped and caught myself on the shelf I twisted my knee a little and pulled a muscle in my back. It took me a second to gather my composure I immediately went to the front to let them know that there was liquid on the floor which they responded which Ayo I let them know I let them know where it was that I told him that I slipped and fell but I caught myself on the shelf . The ASM proceeded to go to the back to watch the cameras came out and said you didn’t fall you just slipped like it mattered whether or not I fell or slipped I hurt myself in the process and then proceeded to tell me that I should have been paying attention and why didn’t I see the liquid all over the floor. The young gentleman that was behind the counter was very polite and apologized for the inconvenience he then asked the ASM if he was going to clean it up and he told him no I’m not effing with that x. I told the young man behind the counter thank you could I please just get the detergent that I was looking for paid for the detergent and left very frustrated. The ASM stated his name was Baluchi or something to that effect. I’m not sure that he is the right person to be in charge of that store if that is the response that he gives customers because there was no empathy or understanding that it was not a fault of mine that the liquid was on the floor to begin with.

I do not have the receipt, it has been over 30 days but no more than 90. It is still an active item and clearly has a Family Dollar security sticker on the back. I purchased the container at your 29th Street, Ashland, Kentucky store a few months ago. After sending the mail I made another attempt at resolution. The manager did resolve the matter. I now have the correct handles which were not on the container originally.

Some weeks later when I filled and attempted to close and latch the container, I discovered it had the wrong handles attached. When I discussed the matter with the manager, she told me to come back in a week and she would have some handles from a future shipment. This has continued on into this new year of 2022. As of this day, March 7, still no handles. I have the handles which came with the container and would like to exchange them with the correct ones. Please give your attention to this matter as I have waited for an inordinate amount of time.

Ok so I call eBay, they say it a problem happening and vender knows about it, the cards they sold me where also accftivated to another person and spent 2/24/2022 so family Dallor sold me cards that someone else had used prior to me buying them, long story short neither eBay or family Dallor will help me I had to file a claim with the FTC, Family Dallor committed fraud and sold me cards they had already sold, instead of calling and helping me . Ive been in there store now 3 times and reviewed with manager , she has called district manager, who says they hold no responsibility for this. Even though I have a recite showing I purchased on 2/25 the day after the cards had been used. It’s probably a simple mistake, that if someone cared about customer service would have helped me. It makes the store look bad and dumpy. Where the store is located is a decent area. Many store managers have come and gone in this store, but the outside still remains the same. Lots of trash and manager neglecting to get it cleaned up.
    Just an idea, hire a homeless person to clean the parking lot only, daily.

I have two stores within my area that I go to and they close up to 35 minutes early compared to what they say on their hours on the door. Know if you guys have a setting where if they’re slow and you tell them they can close I guess that’s on you guys from his business but they tried to pay Jose at 9:10 and 915 telling us that they got a leave so they can close up at 9:30.   225. On 7/22/2021 my son purchased a Tracfone from store #8510. He was assured that this phone had NO internet capabilities. When he got outside in the parking lot he noticed that the phone did have internet capabilities. By law, he cannot have internet of any kind. Upon reentering the store, with in 3 minutes to return it, the clerk replied, no returns, even after assuring him the phone had NO internet capabilities.     I was in the store tonight, Tuesday 7/20/21 at around 8:45pm. I don’t know the girls name but I think she is a supervisor or shift manager or something to that sort. The girl checking me out tonight was very kind, the other girl stood outside and smoked about the whole time I was in there, except when she came in and yelled across the store to the customers that they needed to check out now because they were closing and she was closing the registers down. This is not the only time I’ve had issues with this girl. I quit going to Family Dollar for a long time, just because of her. Tonight was actually my 1st night back in there in at least 2-3 months.   234. I was in store # 10589 on July 18th at 12:25, when I was at the register. The cashier didn’t even greet me. He was lazy to talk, he wasn’t wearing a name badge or the correct uniform with Family Dollar logo on it. He seemed like he didn’t want to be there, like he was sleepy & hated his job. He checked my items out & when I tried to get cash back, he told me he couldn’t give it to me. I asked why & he repeated that he just couldn’t, so when I asked for the reason, he yelled to his manager to tell me why, when he could’ve just simply stated he didn’t have the money in his drawer. He told me, “Alright, stop talking bruh.” Then I told him, “You don’t talk to people like that & you should be fired.” He obviously doesn’t deserve even a simple cashier job, he has absolutely no customer service skills, nor the desire to be there.   241. I was just in your Windsor CT (Windsor Avenue) location where I was verbally insulted by a manager & employee. The issue was I questioned a price on an item after viewing my bill. I told the cash register person that I would go check the price for her so that she can continue attending to customers. I came back confirming the price was incorrect (less than 1 minute). She than told me to go to the back of the line which was about 8 people. I told her I thought that was unfair since I volunteered to check the price. Her & her manager both were rude & combative because I said I should not have to go to the end of the line. I did not at any point raise my voice . They continued to mumble words about me in my face & started speaking in Spanish. Everyone in line said that I could go before them and at that point I returned all my items. Their behavior especially a manager was extremely deplorable & that is probably why every single her person in the line allowed me to go in front of them. Coming from an customer service arena (Human Resources) I could not let this go without at least sharing my experience. I can guaranteed you that I would never visut that location and will share my experience with others. Absolutely unprofessional and not customer focus at all. Something should be communicated to them. However, I am sure they will have a different story. I completed my onboarding and was hired. My check for the two weeks of remodeling was paid to my Chime online bank account with no problem. I worked for two days, Tuesday May 11 and Wednesday May 12 before I left for another job, compiling a total of 14.24 hours before leaving. I was never paid for these hours. I have been in touch with manager, Chavanna and her district manager named Tonia. I’m sorry, but I don’t know either of their last names. They insist I was paid but they don’t know if it was by check or direct deposit. My last contact was with Chavannah and that was on June 7th. I have tried repeatedly to get a reply but I have been stonewalled every time. I feel as if something improper happened with my wages and they’re hoping I’ll just go away, but I won’t. Any help you can give me is appreciated. I asked what account and routing number the funds were sent to or which bank the check was cleared through if the payment was made by check. I offered to send my Chime online account and routing number to help them verify the payment and I haven’t heard from them. I have been very patient and I hope someone in the Corporate office can help me.

  286. I was in the Detroit store on E. 7 Mile between I-75 and John R on 6/29/21. The store was a wreck and the floors were nasty. I spoke to the clerk about the dirty floors, (black male, around 300 lbs. wearing an undershirt) he said I could get a mop and help him clean. They are understaffed. I told him to manage up and call corporate for help because customers should not have to shop in a nasty store. He went into a long dialogue about what customers all people do is steal and the store would likely be closed. I shared that I had been a customer since the store opened and encouraged my neighbors to shop there but as a customer he should not be telling me to help him clean the floors. That type of ignorant employee is the green light to shop some place else. You need a new team at this store or a contractor that will keep the inside and the trashy outside of the store clean.

Now four days later, after she immediately was called by me concerning the intentional blocking that the Cashier is someone experienced for her position as a Cashier. As my wife and I again tried to make a purchase from this Cashier, the Manager blocked us for the purchase, given me the only option for redress for denying us for the items we tried to get at counter; I almost was about to video tape what both employees were doing but decided to contact your Company before anything else happened.
    I do not want the Manager to be fired, just a reprimand is necessary because she loudly shouted out that my wife and I will never be allowed into the store again. We are near to the store and it’s very convenient for our products and purchases, making the only one nearest will have to be us traveling farther than planned.
    The Cashier’s impotence is the need for more training or else firing.
    Both my wife and I are College Degreed citizens, she is in Elementary Child Ed, mine is Bachelor’s in Divinity (GCU).
    Please correct the employees before they cause more customers bad acts in the only store nearby.

I do not speak alot of Spanish however I do believe that it’s beyond rude to stand there and speak Spanish in front of a customer who doesn’t speak it and you basically are ignoring them or talking about them without their knowledge. I did not appreciate her attitude or the disrespect she showed me. I asked the employee (who by the way was very friendly and tried to help in any way he could) why she said she couldn’t reload the card? He had no idea either.   328. I live across the street from Family Dollar and my family and I have become to rely on the convenience of getting different items for everyday needs. But the store has been dealing with a myriad of problems from keeping employees to stock that is never caught up on. The majority of the employees are wonderful. They are helpful…polite…and do their best under overwhelming conditions. One manager who I believe is now gone had created a nightmare situation for employees. I witnessed him accusing one of the best employee of being lazy and leaving stock in the aisles. This was as she was checking my items out at the register. I don’t understand why these problems continue for so long. It would be a blow to the neighborhood to lose this store but at this point no one ever knows when it will be open. It closes quite regularly without notice and it has currently been closed for two days. I don’t know if this is a franchise or corporate store either way something has to give. Family Dollar is important for our community please don’t put my letter aside and forget it. Help is desperately needed.

The manager at this location put him on the schedule and he has not been released from the doctor, she called him about coming in saying she has a Dr appointment. So not only is she not answering her phone, it has now been an hour and he is not getting paid for being here. Is this how you treat your employees? My son is very humble and will help Anyone.   336. I sent my grandson to purchase some items at the Odenville, AL Family Dollar on Saturday, June 12, 2021. He came back and said he was told he could not be in the store because “someone” had reported him and his friends stealing. I went to the store and the assistant manager on duty, Jenice, was extremely rude and ordered me out of her store. I work for a law firm and no, I did not raise my voice to her. I asked if she could review the surveillance cameras and let me know what, if anything, there was against my grandson. I do not condone stealing–or lying–and he was just as eager to see it as I was. She said she couldn’t do that, so I asked to speak with the manager. She threatened me saying it was “her store” and she would call the police and have me removed. I asked her to please call the police. She then called the manager, Jennifer, whom I spoke with. I was disrespected and embarrassed by this “assistant manager.” If that is how you treat customers, especially ones who are trying to do the right thing and see if their child did anything wrong, then I need to shop elsewhere.

    I’m reaching out to hopefully get heard by someone who cares what kind of people are running your stores. I have worked in retail the majority of my life and I have never seen anyone, I mean absolutely anyone acts the way she did on two different occasions. But there is no reason for an employee to follow a customer outside and continue to verbally assault them and what she said when she was outside causing a huge scene, I mean people were stopping to watch the show. I wouldn’t ever want to have someone like that working for me, I wouldn’t even want to have to work with someone who acts like that. But to following a customer out of the store while threatening to punch her in the face is unacceptable behavior for anyone, but she should act more professional at work. .
    I get paid on Tuesdays and I had just used my card at the A&A, so I know it’s not my card. , but for whatever the reason I have trouble at that store. I had already put everything in my bag and since my phone was dead, I had told the cashier I was just going to leave everything there, including the liquor I had just bought, and that I would be back. I started to walk away and that’s when it blew up. I don’t know if she didn’t hear what I had said because that is when she started with an attitude with me, because yeah I just love dealing with her so much. But for some reason instead of letting me walk out the store and leave my stuff she began to say I had her register frozen, but why is she telling me this? So after being yelled at that I had her register frozen and yelling at me because my card not working and I really don’t know what happened to be completely honest. I didn’t do anything to her other than laugh at the situation when I really wanted to cry. I had asked her what she needed me to do, which led to her register being frozen again and I finally told her I couldn’t do her job for her. I didn’t mean to make her mad I just don’t understand why that was my problem. I don’t work there, and I am thinking just cancel the transactions and I’m the customer I don’t’ know anything about that register. Words were exchanged, and she cussed me up one side and down the other, and she accused me of calling her names. Whoa, I was there by myself so who would I have said this to? But nonetheless, she continued to verbally assault me and accused me of stealing. I threw my bag on the ground and told her to search it, but she didn’t she just kept running her mouth. I really thought I took everything out of my bag before I left the store. Turns out when I got a few things at BP on the way home I found a bottle of eye drops that I had and I wasn’t going to go back to the store I was kicked out of and told never to come back again. She really made me mad, and I was trying to get everything out of my bag inside of the store while she was just coming at me and I didn’t see the eye drops that fell in with the liquor bag. So I truly am sorry and if you would like me to pay you for it please reply and let me know. I didn’t even hear the alarm because I was so blown away by what had just happened. I have never seen or even heard of anyone who works in customer service treating a customer like this. She has told me on two different occasions that she wants to punch me in the face. It’s just such a shame that people are going to act like this anyway but to have a manager follow a customer out of a store to just continue to assault them is not acceptable behavior. I have always understood that the customer is always right and I would not dream of acting like that at work. But she doesn’t have anyone to answer to and the first time she did this I talked to the district manager, and she did nothing. I’m just letting you all know that this is the way the Moorefield WV store is being run. Your manager’s acts inappropriately, and this time she took it too far. She caused a scene outside and accused me of stealing but when I threw down my bag she didn’t want to go through it, so what was she doing following me out the door just to make accusations and not really know me at all. I still can’t understand why she kept telling me her register was frozen instead of just doing what she needed to do. I don’t know why she couldn’t just let me leave everything there and come back and pay for it but instead she got an attitude and acted in such a manner that I honestly was shocked myself. I could’ve gone to the atm and withdrew cash and came right back but either way she still had people standing in line behind me, it’s not as if I could have left and came back so quick that they wouldn’t have complained. I would never think of treating someone like that and I had people that I don’t like dealing with but I bite my tongue and remember that they are the customer and it’s my job to help them, not attack them with threats of violence and name-calling, I don’t like confrontation either but I can only deal with so much before I snap and nobody wants that.   341. I have owned a Subway in the Warwood Subway for 24 years. I allowed my employees to shop at family dollar for Subway items such or office supplies or small kitchen supplies.

    I I no longer allow any of my Subway or my personal dollars to be spent in any Family Dollar due to your Manager at the Subway in Wheeling, Warwood , West Virginia due to a wicked manager at this store by the name of Wendy.

    Why? This poor excuse of a manager on 3 occasions has tried to steal my employees in this day and age. She finally accomplished her goal and stole one of my employees on Saturday June 12 ,2021 who just quit without any notice.

    I am appalled at this and it’s going to lead to problems. Even though I knew she was doing this hideous act I still allowed her to be served in my store. No longer will she or the employee she stole be allowed in or on my property. If they defy that request I will file charges and this notice will prove I sent out this request.

    Keep them away from me and or my employees or it will not be a good situation for neither of our businesses. It was a tough 2020 and the last thing either of us need is a feud but I will not back down.

    You should train your managers better. I do not hire from other Subways or try to steal other employees.

There has been severeal times I have gone to this location (2101 8th Ave., Huntington WV) and the store would be closed for bank runs, employees fighting inside the store, unloading the truck and sometimes they just arent there, no sign no nothing. I don’t know the last name of the manager but his first name is Isaac. I on one ocassion went there to buy Dawn and although it was stillin a box it was unavailable to buy for a week and a half. And I began recording so I can show her manager the following day. She asked me to stop recording which I did. And then another employee came in and asked me to leave the building as the so called “assistant manager” now.. proceeds to the front foot and blocks me from leaving threatening to call the cops if I don’t delete the recording. I when in to the neighborhood store to make a quick purchase and I asked one of the associates not knowing she was the manager if they had anymore baskets available she said they should be outside I had already checked and there was none outside before I brought it up to her attention so I told her that there was none and there was only 3 customers in the store so I told her that it would be a good idea to get more as I walked away and was in the next isle she was running her mouth to another co-worker saying it wasn’t that serious and how if I didn’t like it I could go shop at another store.     I had Just left Family Dollar store at 4736 South Blvd Charlotte NC store number 06403 at 9:39 am this morning was my purchase. The associate by the name of Antonio Rang me up. I didn’t have a mask on which didn’t bother him! The manager was absent at the time of my purchase. She came back and asking me aggressively, “where was my mask?” I told her, “I already purchased my items, I’m in route to leave out of the store anyways and I didn’t need one!”

    Things escalating quickly because I called her a “coon”, and a “Massa” follower. She swung opened the door and stood outside the door, shouted for me to leave! I didn’t feel comfortable walking passed her. I explained to the dispatcher that, “I may hit her, she may hit me!” She started filming me and started berating me, asap. I called 911 and as I was on the phone with a dispatcher, she was on the phone with another dispatcher calling me a “slut, hoe, fat, describing me as 300lbs, ugly, old and started speaking on my feet. Mind u, I’m not 300Lbs, ugly, a hoe or a slut, and don’t have ugly feet!

    This is a freaking manager making threats about “whooping my ass” and pulling out scissors on me! She locked me in the store, Then she had her scared employees follow her outside the store to close the door and stand and blocked me from leaving the store!! Antonio the cashier that rung me, put his body weight on the door from the outside to stop me from coming out of the store!! This whole scene was some ghetto x!!. Execuse my language! Keeping me against my will, and she bragged and lied on camera, that, “she will have me arrested and she was shouting, I assaulted her, and coercing her employees that I did, which I did not!”

    I Believe corporate will not do anything to this disrespectful, belligerent, chaotic fool they call a manger, because I heard complaints about her before. She doesn’t deserve to be a manager speaking to customers like a “hoodrat”! I really feared for my life!

I live in Peoria Illinois and I shop at the Family Dollar on Sterling Ave. My complaint is when ever I go after work at 8:30/8:40pm Central Standard Time the store rep always lock the door early. The sign clearly says closes at 9pm. Last night which will be Monday night the rep was outside smoking as I was pulling up, she jumped out put out her cigarette and hurried in and locked the doors as she do whenever she’s working.   430. To Whom it may concern, I was in your store a week ago today (April 25th, 2021 around 9pm at night. While I was in your store the back of my wheelchair caught up on a box that was sitting partly at the end of the isle. A steel shelf that was leaning on this box fell over and then the box fell on top of it. I continude to shop because to try and pick up the box and shelf would have been too dangerous for me to lean forward while sitting in my wheelchair.

    I continued shopping and noticed there was an employee coming towards me and raised her voice at me and said ”
    WHAR WAS THAT LOUD BANGING NOISE IN THE BACK OF MY STORE?” She said this very loudly and rudely to me. I responded by trying to tell her that the box and shelf was in the middle of the end of the isle and my wheelchair. I told her I do not feel I should apologize for it because I felt that the box should not have been left there in the first place.

    She then told me to leave her store. I ask her why? She relied with “Why dont we call the police? I said to her “Why dont we” I turned to place some dish soap back where I got it and it and the basket fell from my hand this is because of diabetic neurphothy.

    I was going to push the issue to call the police, however I felt that there were other avenues to take care of it so I told her I was leaving. She then said …. “No you need to stay here until the cops get here” . I went ahead and exited the store. She followed me outside and asked me my name. … Then she said “, DONT YOU EVER COME BACK IN MY STORE”.

    A couple days later I call Corporate office and spoke with a nice lady “Yolanda” , I told her what happened and she said that a reaginal manager named Vernan was going to call and talk to me.

    On Friday April 30th a field office manager named Demitria called me and apologized for the troubles and said that he was going to talk to the assistant Manager Rita about a floor plan of keeping the boxes picked up. He said that he was going to do that this coming week. He said that he would like to invite me back into the store and that I was welcome back into the store.

    Tonight, I went back into the store May, 2,/2021 and was doing my grocery shopping when this same manager yelled doiwn the isle “I told you not to come back into my store”. I respended by asking her to call her field manager and that I had also spoken with corporate. She responded with “as long as I am at this store you are banned from here” I told her that I could get Demetri on the phone to prove I was welcomed back but she would not even listen.

    I called Demitri so he could talk to her. Our phone call coversation got disconected.. The manager kept coming up to me talking loudly and when I was talking on the phne was leaning real close to me interupting the call.

    At this point I called the police because I felt like she had no right to throw me out of store, when in fact I had not cause a scene or anything. I had not said anything to anyone. At one point I tried to turn my wheelchair around and bumped into an empty store push dolly that was left in the middle of the isle. I was lucky I wasnt hurt or that my wheelchair was damaged.. During this exchange of words she acussed me of cursing at her.

    When the police arrived, I gave my information. They said that since she is manager that for now I had to leave.

    A special note, WHile I was talking to the police, a friend of hers came up to the store. She started laughing and high fiving this guy and said that he can be her witness. He had just arrived. The police officer had to tell her to stop that childish behaviour.

    I can prove that I talked to corporate and that the field off Demetri called me on Friday to apologize for last week and to welcome me back to the store. I thanked him for his professionalism His phone number is 1 312 244 9667 As stated before he called and welcomed me back t the store.

    I live just right across the street. I am in a wheel chair, I also have neuropothy of the hands and have on a regular basis asked for assistance with my shopping. I like the convenience to this store because it being right across the street. I cannot drive so this has been perfect for me. I have shopped your store almost every other day for a couple of years now. I want to be able to continue to shop at your store. I do not feel like I did anything wrong. I had permission to go back into the store tonight.

    The assistant manager Rita was very very unprofessional on both times. I feel all of this could have been avoided if she would have been professional towards me instead of scolding me for nocking the box and shelf over that should have not been there in the first place. Tonight , she would not even listen to me when I was telling her that I did have permission to go back into the store. When I was calling Demitri to prove it she kept interupting me when I was trying to ask him to tell her that I had permission.

    I would like to ask that Demitri honor his word welcoming me back to the store. I would also like to ask that someone speak to Rita to please not further harras me when I shop in the store.

    I am not a trouble maker and did not say a word to anyone when I went to shop tonight. I would not have been back in the store without the field managers permission. It was very unprofessional of her to yell at me not give me a chance to let her know that I had permission. I did not cause a scene or dirupt the store, I was trying to make her understand that I had permission and she yelled at me the whole time. That is why I called the cops so that they could explain to her that I had permission.

False claims, lies, rumors and has the sheriff at our houses here and at the beach for her behavior and choices. she has destroyed property when she is angry. i wanted her transferred to another location due to the tension and make peace in our small community. Have the food shelves are never filled and the aisles are blocked with boxes (on carts) unopened. Most of the time there is only 1 register person which makes lines longer. I worked a total of 64 hours at $13.75/hour for which I have so far been paid a net amount of $300.00. I am still owed at least an additional net amount of $300.00. I have been informed that other temporary employees who worked with me at that store have also yet to receive their full net pay. I have contacted an employment lawyer about this matter.     My truck was hit by someone and they left. I didn’t realize I had been hit until I got home and seen the damage. I called my insurance Co. They asked me to return to the store and ask if someone would view the video for the parking lot, and if they could see when it happened and by whom then I could call the police and have them view it and then I could contact my insurance company with the accident report. I asked the girl told me there was maintainer being done and leave my name and number and she would help me when she could retrieve the video. This was at 10:30 am now it is 7:36 pm exactly 24 hours after the hit and run. I called the store and was told there was no way that was going to happen. They don’t do that. I repeated myself as to I was not asking to watch the video only if the manager could do it and if he or she saw it happen let me know so I could meet an officer their so he could see it to make a report. There was a spill on the floor of some dishwashing liquid, which I could not see and no danger cone was anywhere to be seen. I hit the floor real hard and the Manager on Duty never asked for any information from me or anything. I did get her attention and she came over with a paper towel to wipe up to spill. I feel like this employee was rude and not paying attention to her work. I obviously was a hurt customer and nothing was done about it and there was no concern by the employees of that store.

    I feel like the “Manager on Duty” was not qualified to be a manager and does not need the responsibility of handling customers or their complaints or needs.

The cashier talked mean to me as I was putting my bags in the cart to take out. Earlier I heard the discussion between thrm hinting that there should a limit on how many item a customer should be allowed to purchase. I ignored the comments. As you and I are still aware, there is still a pandemic still in progress. That being sad, the CDC recommends that we wear masks especially employees. I arrived at that store in particular yesterday evening around 5 p.m. and none of the employees were wearing masks. Not a sole in that store was wearing one either.   486. I was at the following store at 11:45 am on 2/22/2021. Store # 08552, 7277 Turfway Road, Florence , Ky. 41042. The cashier was not wearing a mask and was not behind the cashier “plastic shield” when I first approached the sales counter. Even with a shield, droplets can escape and hover infecting your patrons! The other store empolyee was close by, in the store stocking items while NOT wearing a mask. This tells me that: Family Dollar does NOT follow guidelines and does not care about the health of it’s customers. There IS STILL a deadly pandemic. WAKE UP Family Dollar!

  487. Store # 12487, located in Camp Spring, MD. I have a complaint about the line was long and only one register was open and the manager ( I think) was outside talking to someone outside. The person on the register had to ask the customer to step outside to get the manager for help and she went back outside to talk with the same person. There where no carts except two. We had to carry the items in our hands. I dont know if this is your rules and regulations to your store but please show your customers with respectable service. Thank you

  488. There is an older woman in her late sixties with short gray hair t hff st works at the Woods Cross Store in Utah that doesnt wear a mask at all! There is a mandate to wear them in this state. I find it ironic that I heard her tell the woman in front of me that she had a doctors note saying she doesnt have to wear one yet right after she checked me out she hollered at another employee that she was going outside to smoke…
    If she can smoke she can wear a mask!!!!

      Mask mandates must be defied because they are not only unjust, being a violation of every human being’s legitimate individual right to breathe freely, with no obstruction of any kind on one’s body, whether there be a pandemic or not, but also because masks do not protect one from COVID-19 and other viral pathogens because they are so tiny they pass through the pores of every type of mask like mosquitoes through a chain-link fence. Consequently they offer zero protection to the wearer, and zero protection to everyone else. This fact alone proves that mask mandates have nothing at all to do with health and safety, that their actual intention is to assert government operators’ false claim that they have a “right” to control (therefore own) civilians’ bodies and lives, reducing civilians to the status of masked slaves and human stockyard animals

      Mask mandates allow exemptions for various health reasons, even in the case of a person who smokes. Exemptions implicitly reveal the fact that COVID-19 is not equivalent to plague, smallpox, or other deadly disease.

      The most powerful mask that a healthy person possesses is the one inside his/her body: an immune system, which has provided every human being with far better protection than any type of mask ever since the day s/he was born.

  489. I was asked for my birth date when I bought a small tube of super glue. I am 68.
    I was asked for my birth date and when I said “no” THEN the cashier said I can’t sell you the glue w/o your birth date. I gave in. Because she was so curt I didn’t ask anything else.
    Why the need for birth date when buying such small amount of glue???

I am told Andrew Hummel is responsible for snow removal but refuses to do the sidewalk.

I live in Gulfport Mississippi and am amazed at the disregard of public care demonstrated by the family dollar on three rivers road in Gulfport Mississippi. The manager had mask down past beard and ther employee had none at all. Customers without mask etc. Am im safe there ?

    1. I was in store number 01228 I gave the cashier my bag because I had went to another store did not want them to think I would put something in the bag. So when I approached the register to pay for my items .I ask for my bag and the cashier did not secure my bag and let another customer take it. There was no apology or concern for her negligence she needs to be reprimanded and retrained on her conduct and professionalism. Now someone else is enjoying my things that I purchased with my hard earned money. These young people are a joke I would not hire them at all they cost more harm than good to a business they think it’s a game.

  498. i went to the local Family Dollar to return an item. It had been over a month and I had no receipt. The manager would not take the return. The Family Dollar was # 6060 State Rd 200. I visit this family dollar every week. Without a refund I will never visit this store again. I guess I am not a valued customer. Very disappointed!

    Anyway, are you aware that your stor manager at the mason avenue, daytona beach store has a no mask no entry/service on door? this is certainly illegal and discriminatory in the state of florida. one hopes to get some response after a week of trying email, facebook, twitter, and useless phone calls.

  501. On May 17 2020, I went to Family Dollar store and asked them to load 270.00 on my vanilla card. The clerk proceeded to do so, took my money and attempted to load my card. She stated she was having problems with the computer, and asked me to wait while she turned the computer off and then back on. She attempted again and said it loaded. She told me to keep the receipt in case it didnt. I came home and checked it and it was not on there. I went back to family dollar and told them that it did not load. They scanned the receipt to get my money back and it would not let them. They told me to notify my cardholder. I did and was told that it was attempting to load but stopped and went back to store. I went back to family dollar and told them what they said. Family dollar clerk called manager, and she told me she wouldnt be in until the next day. I went back to family dollar the next day and the manager told me she could not give me my money back and I would have to call cooperate office. I tried and was unable to get anyone to answer phone. Even my sister called. We attempted several times and spent a long time on the phone. I have done everything I know to do. I have tried to work with the card company. All I get is the run around from everybody. I am disabled and am on SSI. I have limited income and am very anxious about this. Please help me resolve this. The store number in Okemah, Ok is #7542. I know for a fact if you carried it it would sell….I would buy it every week I hate having to go to Green Bay to purchase it all the time. And the manager there…needs a lil adjustment. Your store in Wausaukee, Wisconsin is a beautiful layout since the remodeling but as the same as the old store it is FREEZING, the temperature in the store is less than desirable and I hate going there because its so cold, it’s hard to look around to see new items because I want to get out as fast as I can. Many people I have spoken to say the very same thing. You need to bring the thermostat down to ground level because hot air rises! This is common sense! Hope to “feel” the changes in the very near future! This also keeps people from wanting to work there as well, this is a fact. Thank you for fixing the problem with the heating and cooling in summer same problem because heat rises and the A/C never stops running! Wasted money fir your company and your customers

  508. This complaint is against three of your store managers who work at Store# 07933. On November 19,2018 I shopped in that store. When I entered the store the Manager whose name is Zinna was sitting at the kiosk. When she saw me, she immediately got up and began following me around the store. When she is there she always follow me and tell the employees to follow me. I have heard her tell some of the customers that I must be a thief and they will repeat what she said to them. If I can dress the way I do, I should not be shopping there. She has told other Managers to watch me as I shop. I have been shopping in the store when she and one other Manager have had some of the employees to stand next to me. Zinna has been harassing me for the past approximately 3-4 years. I have gone in that store to shop, and have seen the other Managers and employees following me from the next isle over as I leave the isle in which I was shopping. She has called the Security Guards that were patrolling the neighborhood to the store to watch me as I leave the store. She has had other authority people to watch me if they were in the store. On November19, 2018, I had enough of her and the employees disrespect. I paid for my items and I left the store. After I arrived home I thought of what I should do. The following day I called the store and spoke to the Assistant Manager. She defended Zinna. She told me that Zinna had not worked at that store for a few years. She told me that I was mistaking about Zinna’s behavior. I was getting upset and began to fuss. She hung up on me. A few minutes later I went into the store. I apologized for getting upset with her. She still defended Zinnna. I told her that I wanted to meet with Zinna, a District Manager, and someone from Corporate. I want Zinna to tell me why she does not want me to shop in that store. The Assistant Manager told me to come back around three o’ clock that afternoon, Zinna would be there. The three of us would talk then. She told me that Zinna listens to her. I did not tell her that I would come back. I did not come back. She began telling me about how the store was about to close and that store attracted thieves. I have never stolen or tried to steal any items from the stores. I have previously made complaints to a District Manager. The harassment continues. The same Assistant Manager that I spoke to on November 20, was a Sales Associate and she was aware when Zinna began harassing me. I have shopped at other Family Dollar Stores to avoid having any confrontation with Zinna and the other employees. Zinna and I do not know each other and we do not talk to each other. I would like to know what the solution is to this problem. My money is not appreciated at that store. I am going to continue to shop there when I want to.

I had another rude experience at family dollar in larose ive lived here all my life never been treated so bad by the work staff this is the 3rd time it happens the manger was right there he was to busy gossiping on his phone to bother but ive learned my lesson i will never go shopping at the larose la.     1. I was at the Family Dollar located at #08310 , 2101 8 th Ave.Huntington Wv. I was there on 5/18/202. My husband and I went there to see if we can buy a few things for dinner. The store was not properly stocked, no can or box foods on the shelf. I understand the truck comes on a Thursday but what about in the mean time. It feels like a Jackel looking for food . It’s convenient but I will not shop there again. Your DG. Is better well stocked, friendly Employees and they take the time for us customer’s. We do alot if reviews on social media and it’s a shame how this store is running. Your employees are very rude and we’ll , I won’t waste my money there again and I will leave a bad review.     3. I was at FD on Warm Springs Rd Columbus, GA when the clerk must have thought it appropriate behavior to hit on me as I was checking out. I won’t be back to that store EVER! I don’t appreciate it, I don’t go to stores to be hit on by an employee, He needs to be fired! Very poor decision on managements part
