Hi I’m very disappointed with Apple support in Australia. I’m Brazilian but I bout a MacBook Pro 2011 by the time I lived in Sydeny and unfortunately it had many issues with it’s Logic board. I had to change it twice the last one was on 2015 when there was a recall. Now I just discover that it’s a manufacturer problem and that is the reason it never work properly since I bought it. Now I just realize it’s a problem with all macbookpro 2011 and there are many decisions about this regarding to the consumer rights. I know it’s consider obsolate by Apple, but I didn’t know about the hidden issue, and Apple never told me about this. Now I’m trying to contact Apple support in Australia, but for my surprise, the advisors even the advanced ones gave me a “ disinformation” they told me that the Australian consumer law does not can be used for me because I’m in Brazil. Is ti possible??? I asked the many time to be informed about consumer act and they insist telling me that it’s the information Apple legal provide them. it’s unbelievable!!!! I’m a law student and I don’t need to be one to know the is the territory that was bought the product that regulate this. It’s better to provide them the right information, it’s not beautifully to lie. It’s illegal!!! What is it? Can you explain that for me? So if my computer is not regulated by Australian laws and nether by Brazilian consumer law, what is it regulated by? I’m tired of Apple care, you don’t care!!! You are not the same, and we can see the, it’s clear! I hope you can take care of environmental, because you are making planed obsolescence and it’s so sad to see Apple action like any other company. Now for me you are the same, there is no true and care in your voice.
