I have had Whirlpool appliances since before 1980. I have always loved tour appliances, no problems. But this time my experience has very bad. I bought a stove on May, 2,1918. They delivered it , hooked it up there was a bang and it started smoking. They took it away, and brought me and one a few days later. It did fine until October. I called for service, on Oct. 16, they sent Stalney out to repair it, it was sending out a code E1-F6. He said it was over heating and he would have to order the part. Called the repairman on Oct. 23&24. He never called me back! On Nov. 9, talked with Bob at Whirlpool, no help! Called Whirlpool back same day, talked with Courtney Gave her the serial # R81018416, stated part still on back order. Nov.9, talked with Jennifer, she stated they had the part and she would overnight it to Stalney repair shop, give me a way to track the part, never heard anything from her, Whirlpool or Stalney’s. About the or service. Talked with Whirlpool today, Nov. 14, He called the repair shop, they said they had the part, nothing about when they got it, but are suppose to call me today to tell me what time they will be out tomorrow, it is 2:42 and I have not heard from them yet. Hoping I will hear soon. I plan to buy a refrigerator soon, but I’m not sure it will be a Whirlpool! Wish I didn’t have to send this , but a month without an oven is not good. Sincerely, B, Vines
