  2. Hi my name is Cheryl Hall, me and my husband shop often at Dillard’s. My husband purchased a Coach purse and Lancome facial products for me on Christmas eve. Yesterday 1/31/21 I went to the store to return the Coach purse and got a store credit which was great. I go to the lancome counter to return those products and the sales lady had to call for assistance, the lady comes over she looks at the receipt and says i’m sorry this is over 30 days I can not return these products, I said mam all I want is a store credit to purchase something else I don’t use this product. I said I just returnrd a purse that was purchased on the same day with a store credit with no problem. Then she went into this speach about now the Covid guidlines will not allow us, she said Im going to have to throw these products away, I said when my husband purchased there was nothing said that the products could not be returned. I said all I want is a store credit. She refused. This is awful for a store of Dillards standards not to issue me a store credit. So now I’m stuck with $400 dollars of this product that I don’t wear.   3. Earlier this week I tried to contact Dillard’s corporation office because an ASM by the name of Lisa at the store in Vicksburg Ms was bullying my child that worked there. Today my daughter went to work and the manager acted really ugly with her and went in her personal locker without her permission. This action that was taken by store manager was very inappropriate!!! After she did that she stated that she didn’t no if she was going to keep her or fire her. The manager and the ASM at that store needs some serious training and corporate office really needs to look into that store because it’s a lot of mistreatment towards the employees. I hope corporate does something about that store even though my child is no longer employed there!

  4. Good morning,
    I would like to return a dress that I bought last year for my son’s wedding. The wedding has been postponed due to Covid 19. Technically, I would be exchanging the dress for another one that I just ordered from Dillard’s on Friday.
    I understand that I am far beyond the corporate return policy. The circumstances of the wedding, changes and postponements, are far beyond our control.
    That said, the dress I want to return is still available on the Dillard’s website. The dress has not been worn, has the tags on it, and is in the original packaging.
    I had the displeasure of speaking with Sharia, a Dillard’s manager in Little Rock, Arkansas. Our call was yesterday, 3/14/21, at approximately 1:15-1:30 p.m. ET. I would encourage you to listen to the call.
    Sharia clearly understands and states the corporate policy approximately 10 times during our conversation.
    She was professional and even tempered.
    She followed what I assume to be the company’s scripted response for questions about returns past the deadline.
    She did not express any regret about the circumstances of our wedding.
    She was not caring.
    She was not kind.
    She was not helpful.
    After about 10 minutes of hearing the company policy repeated to me, I finally asked her what the real reason was that she was not willing to help me. No response.
    I asked her 5 times if she had the authority to override the date and allow me to a refund, an exchange, a credit. No response.
    The sixth time I asked her, she finally admitted to me that she DID have the authority to authorize a return, but she was not willing to do so.
    At that point, I told her I would pray for her, and I have continued to do so since Friday.
    I am so disappointed.
    I do not understand why an exception could not be made under these circumstances. As I stated, the dress is still available on your website, and I just bought a second dress from Dillard’s.
    Side note – I reached out to Macy’s yesterday to return items that I bought for the wedding last year for the same reasons. They happily refunded the full amount of the purchase, and expressed their sadness over how my family and our wedding had been impacted by C19.
    If I can find another dress at Macy’s, I will.
    I will return the dress I bought from Dillard’s immediately, and I will shop Macy’s moving forward, not Dillard’s.
    These past 18 months have been difficult for everyone.
    We have all been impacted by this pandemic and it seems that grace should be in order as far as possible. I was offered none from Dillard’s. This pandemic is not over.
    I have an expensive formal dress hanging in my closet that I cannot use. I am requesting a refund or at least a store credit.
    I would love to speak with someone from Dillard’s who is willing and able to help me.
