  1. Good company, I have one small complaint though: It would be great if they had a chat function or online email form where you could easily contact a customer service representative.

  2. I did not have a the greatest experience with contacting the corporate office. They seem to be a bit annoyed with dealing with customers, so I recommend that everyone contacts customer service directly through their phone number or contact them on Facebook.

  3. Model # 4TWX6036E1000BA

    Serial # 13111p9y2f

Comments: We have had the discharge pipe coming out of compressor fail 3 times since new, it seems ridiculous to keep replacing the 3 inch piece of pipe when it is just going to fail again. There has to be someone else having this same problem, and there has to be a fix for it, so what I am asking is what is the fix ? Heat pump was installed 05/23/2013 first failure was 01/28/2015 second failure was on 09/01/2015 and now on 03/01/2017. I’m thinking the compressor startup is what is causing the 1/2 ” copper pipe to rupture, the compressor startup sounds very violent . Is there a kit that would absorb the shock and torque on that fitting, and keep that piece of pipe from splitting ?
Heating season 2017-2018 compressor got very noisy, called AMK heating out of Edwardsville Il. they said it was the compressor, so they installed a new compressor furnished by trane under Warranty , I had to run in emergency heat mode 90% of the season, they were here numerous times, but to no avail, then we went into summer season and the a/c ran perfect, low bills , ran quietly couldn’t have been better .
So here we are about to enter heating season again, but I have no reason to believe it is going to work.
Side story Trane sent them a 2.5 ton compressor, to install in my 3 ton unit, the installer said he just installed what Trane sent, I don”t believe that is the heating problem as it worked so good for A/C, but should I insist that the right compressor be installed ? Part # of compressor that was installed ZPS30K4EPFV806 .

    1. Going to junk the unit out and replace with a gas furnace, it didn’t work for the 2018-2019 heating season either. good by Trane !!
