  2. I am in Hawaii for my honeymoon and vowel renewal and Hertz would not transfer my rental car to a different drop off location. My husband has to drive 40 minutes out of town to drop off the rental car we got at the airport and then drive another 45 minutes out and take a taxi back to the airport. I am extremely disappointed in the customer service. The representative was extremely rude and not friendly at all. Your company should make it easier being that it is the same company and not have to make tourists jump through so many hoops. I would not recommend anybody to rent from these people. I am sorry to show my dissatisfaction but some of these employees need to go through a class on customer service. I would at least ask for an apology for the rudeness.

  3. I am a platinum member for over 20 years. On March 24th around 3:00 PM my delayed flight from West Palm Beach to Charlotte was delayed, causing me to miss my connecting flight to Asheville, North Carolina, where my car was. I called Hertz Platinum to rent a car to pick up in Charlotte, drive to Asheville and drop off the car, a 3 hour use. The woman I spoke to reserved my car and told me the cost would be “a little more than $100.” The next day I had 2 charges on my credit card, one for $100 and one for $600. I called the Platinum desk to complain. Over many days, I was told by Nicole that the call had been recorded and that she listened to it and that the representative never stated what I said and that all the charges had been reviewed with me multiple times along with a confirmation that the car was to be dropped off in Nashville. That is just not true. So, I asked her to give me a text of the call and she declined.
    I could have easily stayed in an airport hotel for $100 and caught a flight the next morning. It would have been foolish to incur a $600 charge and drive 3 hours. I am not pleased with Hertz about this and will broadcast that unless a reasonable compromise is given.

  4. I made a reservation @Orlando Airport with hertz. Representative said the rental for 3days would be $245 but if I went to a CVS and paid with a green dot card it would be $122.62. So I bought a green dot card and transfered money from my account $322.62, he said there was a $200 deposit. Gave him the green dot card# he said I was all set and that my reservation # was J06593484A5. Shortly after I received a call from your billing department, the girl said that my card was no good and my reservation was canceled. She said I would be reimbursed in 2 days. That was 03/03/2022. I have not been reimbursed as of yet and I would appreciate your attention to this matter! These are your people doing this

  5. This is the very worst Company I have ever dealt with. Customer Service phone just disconnects all other options just don’t answer. Don’t rent from them they are awful, the very worst

I prepaid my car rental reservation through Priceline for Saturday June, 12, 2021, my pick up time was 12:00PM.  I arrived for my rental pick up at 11:55 AM and the business was closed.  I knocked on every door I could find for the building and no-one answered!  The temperature outside was reaching 103 degrees and no employee was there to help me with my reservation.  I was renting this car because I was taking my daughter to an event I paid over $500,00 per ticket for.  I was unable to take my daughter to this event because I did not get my rental I prepaid for because the business was closed and no one would answer the door!  I am very upset, I tried calling Hertz 1800 as directed by my priceline itinerary, I could not speak to anyone   after 45 minutes of being onhold.  This morning again I tried contacting the Hertz 1800 number only to be given the runaround after being on hold for 1 hour!  I messaged Priceline, on a chat and text message and I was given the runaround after being on hold for 3 hours waiting for someone to respond!  I am demanding a refund and to be compensated for my event I missed because of your company’s error!

Main st Mesa, Az 85201I called 480-668-1300I Spoke to the “Counter Manager”  who was very rude and unprofessional, he handed the phone to another man who basically called me a liar by saying he was there on Saturday.  If he was there on Saturday I would not be contacting you.

  8. I have a complaint about your customer service. I think there is definite room for improvement. I had to wait a long time on old to get through on the customer support phone number.
